(40) How to Configure/Setup/Change the Header Content in Porto WordPress

To change settings or configure the header section of your website with Porto you need to go to Porto>> Theme Options >> Header >> Header Layout and select header design as per your requirements. And then to change settings, text color, menu color, and other header changing follow screenshots below.

The followings are points that are set up in below screenshots:

1-Go to Porto>> Theme Options >> Header >> Header Type and select any header design as per your requirements which you want to set on your site. Please remember that this will only change the structure of the header but not the color, For changing the color of the header you have to change it from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Header as per your requirements.

2-To Show/Hide header top go to Porto >> Theme Options >> Header >> and enable show header top option as showing in the below-given screenshot.

3-To change logo size according to headers like large in main header and small in the sticky menu go to Porto>> Theme Options >> Header >> and enable change logo size in sticky header option as showing in this screenshot:

4-To show Mini Cart in header go to Porto>> Theme Options >> Header >> end enable show mini cart option as showing in the below-given screenshot:

5-To change header top welcome message and contact information in header go to Porto>> Theme Options >> Header >> and set text in the welcome message box and contact info according to your need.

6-To show currency and language switcher go to Porto>> Theme Options >> View, Currency Switcher and enable show WPML language switcher/Polylang/ qTranslate X plugins and WPML currency switcher(NOTE: show WPML language and currency switcher in HTML option is only for testing purpose enable it when you have not installed WPML language switcher/Polylang/ qTranslate X plugins and WPML currency switcher plugin in your WordPress site because it is only for the dummy purpose, but If you Installed and Configured the plugins then you have to turn OFF the HTML switcher and turn ON the WPML switcher it will work for you).

7-To show Social Icons in the top header go to Porto>> Theme Options >> Header >> Social Links and enable Social Links of your choice just by putting # or your own social links in it.

7-II-To show Search Form in the header and set its design goes to Porto>> Theme Options >> Header >> and there you can enable or disable the search form and set its design as per your requirements.

8-To show Sticky Header on the website and set its components to go to Porto>> Theme Options >> Header and Sticky header and there you see options to show mini cart, show search form, show logo and enable or disable sticky menu options.
